The majority of Adam's practice consists of family work. He accepts instructions in Children Act matters (both public and private law), matrimonial finance and cohabitation disputes.

Adam also undertakes some general common law work.

Adam is a member of the FLBA and ALC.
Interesting cases include: LM (by her Guardian) v Medway Council, RM and YM [2007] EWCA Civ 9, [2007] 1 FLR 1698, CA; Re A & others (HHJ Murdoch QC), a case in which Adam represented the Father who was alleged to have committed very grave sexual assaults against his children and in respect of which he was later sentenced to a term of life imprisonment.
