Called: 2002 (Gray’s Inn) Practice ProfileJohn joined Chambers in 2006 having previously practiced on the Midlands Circuit in both criminal and family law. He quickly established a busy practice predominantly in family law, and appears regularly in cases involving private and public children law, ancillary relief as well as injunctive relief. He also accepts instructions in respect of cohabitee property disputes and general civil matters. He prides himself on providing a friendly and approachable service to clients, appreciating this is particularly important in the context of family breakdown. Drawing on his experience of the criminal law, John has a particular aptitude for those cases which require thorough analysis and expert and detailed cross-examination for example fact-finding hearings and other cases which have a quasi-criminal aspect. John has successfully appealed a number of cases in both the family and criminal law arena. Specialist Practice AreasFamily
