Martha has experience in all areas of family law, but in recent years has concentrated upon Children Act matters. Her practice is currently divided fairly evenly between private and public law cases.  She has acted for local authorities, parents and children.

Other Professional Experience

Martha is an experienced mediator, having worked in this field since 1998.  She mediates regularly in disputes in the workplace and in cases involving issues of special educational needs, as well as mediating on a voluntary basis in community disputes.

Hobbies and other Interests

Martha is an enthusiastic though far from expert horsewoman, competing regularly in local dressage competitions.

She also enjoy walking her dogs (odd mix of pug, dachshund and spaniel), reading, going to the cinema and dreaming of exotic holidays.

Recently Martha trained as a registrar, officiating at weddings at weekends as a counter-balance to dealing with the aftermath of relationship breakdowns during the week.
