Practice Profile

Tom has an extensive civil law practice with an emphasis on property related disputes. He has acted in a wide range of land actions, which have included issues of rights of way, easements, boundaries, trespass, rectification, co-ownership and estoppels. He appears for landlords and tenants in both residential and commercial matters.

He also practices in the field of trust law, and his work includes advising on trusts of all kinds (including charities), advising the beneficiaries and trustees of family settlements, advising the executors and personal representatives of the estates of deceased persons, applications under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and advising on the interpretation and effect of trusts and wills.
