Scope
Stour Chambers Civil Law Barristers undertake an extremely comprehensive range of civil law work. We retain expertise in all aspects of providing general advice, drafting and litigation.
Members of Chambers have extensive experience of advocacy before the County and High Courts on all levels of work from small claims to complex and high value commercial litigation.
Members' clients are drawn from a wide range of business organisations, professionals, local authorities and individuals.

Completion of paperwork
Chambers' policy is that paperwork is completed within 21 days of receipt, unless an earlier or later completion date has been agreed with those instructing. Civil Law Barrister members are able, if required, to advise or draw pleadings at short notice.
Fees
Initial fee estimates for Civil Law Barristers will be provided on enquiry with the clerks, and confirmed upon receipt of papers. Chambers will undertake work on a privately paying or publically funded basis. The clerking team is willing to discuss receipt of instructions on a Conditional Fee basis.
