Stour Chambers
Resources and reassurance...

The Clerks' room at Stour Chambers is fully computerised and uses the latest specialist software, designed for the legal profession, to ensure that all administration is handled efficiently. All our barristers use information and communication technology and can receive instructions and deliver paperwork by email if specifically requested.

Our clerks will be happy to provide further details of the relevant experience of particular members of Chambers and to assist in the selection of appropriate Counsel for individual cases. One of their other key roles is in helping to agree fees. Members of Chambers will undertake publicly-funded, conditional fee and family graduated-fee work. The nature and complexity of the case and the client's circumstances are key factors in this process, and our clerks are both experienced and readily available to assist.

Chambers has three main practice groups within Chambers and each practice group has minimum standards of quality service, which are summarised on the Work Undertaken pages.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our services, and do our best to ensure that all aspects of our work meet the highest standards. In the unlikely event that we do not meet your expectations, we welcome all feedback to the Senior Clerk or Head of Chambers (Simon Johnson).
