Prior to qualifying as a barrister, Fiona gained legal experience in a solicitors’ firm and in a charity. Fiona’s main areas of practice are family law, asylum and immigration law and judicial review.

Fiona regularly represents clients in both public law children cases and private law children cases. Her practice also includes ancillary relief. Fiona has a particular interest in family law jurisdiction cases. Fiona has extensive experience of asylum and immigration law and her practice in this area includes representation at the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal as well as judicial review work and applications to the Court of Appeal. Fiona is also a fee paid Immigration Judge.

She is a member of the Family Law Bar Association, the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association and the Human Rights Lawyers’ Association.
