John began life at the Bar predominantly prosecuting and defending in the criminal courts, however his practice is increasingly family law orientated. John's extensive experience of the criminal courts means that he brings with him the specialist skills associated with advocacy in the Crown Court.

John's practice embraces all elements of family law from public and private children law to ancillary relief. He has a particular aptitude for those cases which require thorough analysis, expert and detailed cross-examination or which have a quasi-criminal aspect. John is a member of the Criminal and Family Law Bar Associations.
