Called to the bar in 1985, Sandra has over 20 years' practice as an advocate. Sandra specialises in family and criminal law, appearing in all levels of court, up to and including the High Court, Court of Appeal and Divisional Court.

Sandra's experience in family cases includes care proceedings, residence and contact disputes, Family Law Act injunctions, paternity disputes, wardship and adoption. She also specialises as a criminal prosecutor, representing the Crown in all types and level of offences, including serious violent and sexual offences. She also provides advice to national charities, DEFRA and local authorities. For 12 years Sandra has been a pupil supervisor, training young barristers to be first-class advocates.
