Chambers recognises that the Bar is changing. In particular the family and criminal Bar. The decision as to whether we are going to offer pupillage in any one year is dependent on whether we see the need for a pupil and a junior tenant in the foreseeable future.

Accordingly we will not necessarily offer a pupillage every year. If we do offer a pupillage it will be one 12-month pupillage and is likely to be partially funded. Chambers has in the past been given a partial waiver with the Bar Council and so the funding arrangements will not be confirmed until the pupillage is formally advertised.

Whatever the position, Chambers is not a member of OLPAS, though we do follow their rules and general timetable.

Please monitor the website for details. Should chambers decide to offer a pupillage it will be advertised in accordance with the Bar Council Regulations.
